Helping end the shame and stigma surrounding periods.
Emanating from the Charitable engagements that our Founder Phannie A. Kwegah has previously had, My Flow Foundation was born from the belief that every girl and woman deserves to have their dignity as enshrined in the Constitution of Kenya safeguarded.
Our goal is to help girls reclaim the dignity that poverty denies them in their most sacred moment by ensuring that no girl misses school because they are on their period.
We want to debunk myths and taboos related to menstruation and create widespread Menstrual Health awareness.
We want to instill confidence and self-worth in girls, while expelling shame and stigma related to Menstruation.
We want to influence implementation of policies and laws touching on Menstrual Health.
As a Foundation, we have the responsibility to ensure this is done and we are certain that our objectives as shared above can be achieved when we work together.
It is in this vain that the Foundation has worked and continues to Work with Friends and Partners to create Menstrual Health Awareness and Management, Provide Mentorship on Academics and Career Path, Life Skills, Sexual and Reproductive Health. All this in a bid to empower girls, improve public and personal health, inspire civil engagement and create better future for girls in our communities.
Our Programs and activities are designed to make a real and lasting change in girls today and in the days to come and we strongly believe that to empower girls is to empower a generation.
